“Only eternity will reveal the horrendous inhumane actions of conscious seared individuals!”
When the Nazi war criminals went on trial at Nuremburg in 1946, the lead prosecutor Telford Taylor began his opening statement with these chilling words:
The defendants in this case are charged with murders, tortures and other atrocities committed in the name of medical science. The victims of these crimes are numbered in the hundreds of thousands … To their murderers, these wretched people were not individuals at all. They came in wholesale lots and were treated worse than animals.
He was exactly right. The Nazis even called the Jews “Untermenschen” which meant “subhuman.”
But this horrific phenomenon isn’t confined to the Nazis alone. It’s part of the psychology of killers that their pathology allows them the frightening ability to dehumanize their victims. The Hutus in Rwanda considered the Tutsis “cockroaches” as they slaughtered them. Slave traders in Africa considered dark-skinned Africans to be animals as they yoked them. And here in America, Planned Parenthood considers tiny humans “white globs” as they dismember them:
As America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood released cartoon videos earlier this month to illustrate abortion, with one on the “abortion pill” and another on the “in-clinic abortion.”
Even in the surgical abortion video, for pregnancies past 10 weeks, Planned Parenthood represented the unborn baby merely as a white dot, or filled-in circle.
“During an in-clinic abortion,” the female narrator calmly relayed, “a doctor, nurse, or other health care provider empties your uterus using gentle suction and sometimes other medical tools.” She tried to reassure viewers. “Abortion is very common and it’s also very safe,” she stressed, “and serious problems are extremely rare.”
There’s more than something a little ghoulish about the phrase “empties your uterus using gentle suction” when you consider that the gentle suction is quite literally ripping a tiny human being limb from limb. It smacks of the very kind of sick justifications and macabre rationalizations that Hitler’s minions offered as they described exterminating their “subhuman” victims with similar terminology: parasites, tumors, and dangerous growths that represented a threat to their host.
Whenever liberals anger over a conservative position, their first instinct is to trot out references to Hitler and the Nazis. But given the striking similarities between the manner in which Hitler’s Nazi regime devalued human life to suit their ends, and the way Planned Parenthood – darling of the Democrat left – does the same, they’d be well advised to dial it down a notch.
